The objective of this Scope of Work is to appoint a competent service provider to design, supply, install, commission, maintain and optimize a dust suppression and surfactant dosing system for the Tweefontein Surface Operation ROM tip, ROM conveyor and associated transfer points. The system must be aligned to leading dust-control practice, including the MOSH dust leading-leading-practice principles of: • controlling dust as close as possible to the source. • using water and surfactant to improve wetting and prevent dust becoming airborne. • applying fogging/misting technology where appropriate. • maintaining engineering controls continuously. • verifying performance through inspection, monitoring and reporting. • setting proactive trigger levels below occupational exposure limits. • ensuring operator, maintenance and supervisor adoption of the system. The Supplier shall provide a complete dust suppression solution covering: 1. Dust surfactant chemical supply. 2. Bulk storage tanks. 3. Chemical dosing and metering system. 4. In-line mixing system. 5. Water-surfactant spray/fogging system. 6. ROM tip dust suppression. 7. Transfer-point dust suppression. 8. Conveyor loading and discharge dust suppression. 9. Nozzle systems, spray bars, manifolds and pipework. 10. Electrical, control and automation interfaces. 11. Flowmeters, pressure gauges and dosing verification. 12. Maintenance, calibration and optimization. 13. Dust-control performance reporting.
